"I recently had the privilege of shooting a 100th birthday celebration and, when the guest of honor was asked what she wanted as a gift, her response was that all she wanted was 'pictures.' That really hit home for me...I've always loved the challenge of finding the essence of an individual or a family through my lens. Now that I have my own family (my two girls are pictured here), I feel even more deeply how much it means to look back at images that reflect a particular moment in our lives. I shoot all sorts of portraits--from babies and families to headshots and candids--and I find something inspiring in all styles."
